2025年毕业典礼
毕业典礼 at California State University, Los Angeles takes place annually at the end of the spring semester. For the academic year 2024-2025, students can graduate at the end of fall 2024, 2025年冬, 2025年春季, 或者2025年夏天, but 毕业典礼 only takes place at the end of May.
毕业典礼 details, including the schedule, will be posted at the beginning of the spring semester. 毕业典礼 notifications will also start at the beginning of 2025年春季 and continue until May.
毕业 vs 毕业典礼
Graduating from the University and participating in 毕业典礼 are two different things. 毕业 is when the student has officially and successfully completed all their degree requirements. 毕业典礼 is the ceremony in which degrees are conferred and celebrates the achievement of the students who have graduated or will soon graduate during the academic year.
To officially graduate from 加州大学洛杉矶分校, students must satisfy all University, 大学, and departmental requirements for a specific bachelor’s, 硕士, or doctoral degree.
毕业 is managed and coordinated by the 毕业 Office. The 毕业 Office evaluates graduation applications and other educational records, including graduating with honors, for the purpose of awarding degrees.
Diplomas are mailed to the students by the 毕业 Office once their final grades have been verified after their graduation term.

Participating in 毕业典礼 is optional and not mandatory. If a student chooses to not participate, it does not affect their eligibility to graduate from the University. 除了, participation in 毕业典礼 does not automatically mean that the student has graduated.
毕业典礼 is a separate process from graduating. Eligible graduating candidates can register to participate in 毕业典礼 in mid-spring. When a student confirms participation in 毕业典礼, 加州大学洛杉矶分校 will reserve a seat for the student at the ceremony and provide a select number of guest tickets.
毕业典礼 is produced and managed by the 毕业典礼 Office (University Events and Protocol). The office facilitates and coordinates the 毕业典礼 ceremonies and activities.
